Each nesting doll set is made to order and the whole set takes the artist 5 business days to paint and 2-3 more days to coat it with 5-7 layers of lacquer. "Zastolye" is a Russian feast. This set portrays a woman with a roast suckling pig, her husband with a salted mushroom on fork in one hand and a shot of vodka in the other, their children (a boy and a girl) with baked products, and their cat.
