 Description
Russian Biskvit (Sponge Cake) is very easy to make and will serve a delicious fluffy dessert on any table.
 Method
Whip sugar and eggs in mixer; add flour and baking powder to it. Add chopped dried fruits to your taste. Pour in a greased mold and bake until golden and fluffy.

 Ingredients
  • 4 ea eggs.
  • 1 c sugar.
  • 1 c flour.
  • 1/4 ts baking powder.

     Not bad, but it's better to mix egg yolks with sugar first, then add flour baking powder and what you don't mention is about four soup spoons vegetable oil. Beat the whites with mixer until very stiff (if you turn the bowl over nothing will fall out). Then very slowly and carefully with dpoon mix the above together and bake. You can put any fruit you like on top (peaches, apricots, bananas, etc).
