Description Koliadki are Christmas cookies that are made to treat all the people who come to sing carols. These cookies can have the most different fillings.  Method Combine flour with water and knead the dough. Roll out the dough finely and cut out squares. Fold the edges and pinch them to have small boxes. Fill the boxes with tvorog combined with eggs and sugar and bake in a preheated oven on average heat until light brown.		Ingredients 400 g flour. 150 g water. Filling:. 300 g tvorog (cottage cheese). 7 ea eggs. sugar to taste.

Like a cardboard box  We made these cookies for a 7th grade school project and the shell box tasted like a cardboard box. Flour and water, baked is not very good. The squares were hard to make and we have no clue on the size. After they cool, like the next day when we brought the project in, it really left lots to be desired!  Kathy

Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou  What can I say.These are soooooooo delicious and i had heaps! It reminded me of my strong Russian background and when I closed my eyes I really felt I was celebrating a Russian Christmas IN RUSSIA! Instructions  I am not an avid baker nor Russian. The directions left me very puzzled and I burnt the first bach. If you could give temperature and times for baking in future recipes it would be helpful.   Anonymous

Dissapointed  I was very dissapointed with this recipe. I found the directions hard to follow and burnt my first bach. If you could give baking temperatures and times it would be so much easier to experience the true taste of the recipe. Any other way doesn't do justice to the food.  Anonymous
