 Pirozhki With Dried Mushrooms

 Description
Russian cuisine knows a great number of recipes for pirohi and pirozhki with various fillings and of different forms. Nevertheless, every housewife tries to create her own masterpiece. Pirohi differ from each other by the dough, form, filling and the way of preparing.
 Method
Chop margarine with flour, combined with baking powder, add yolks, sour cream and knead dough. Put the dough in a cold place for an hour, then roll out finely. Make rounds with a glass. Soak mushrooms in water, cook them. Chop onion finely and fry in oil. Soak a bread piece in milk. Grind mushrooms, bread in a mincer, add onion, ground pepper, salt and stir thoroughly.Put the filling in the center of a round and pinch the edges, brush pirozhki with a beaten egg and bake in a preheated oven until done 200-250 C.

 Ingredients
  • Dough.
  • 250 g flour.
  • 100 g margarine.
  • 1 ea yolk.
  • baking powder.
  • 50 g sour cream.
  • Filling:.
  • 50 g dried mushrooms.
  • 40 g onion.
  • 20 g fat.
  • 25 g wheat bread.
  • ground black pepper.
  • salt.
