 Description
Potato is considered the second bread as we eat fried or boiled potatoes almost every day. Belorussian recipe “kartoflyanki” (small potatoes), easy to make, will diversify your every day menu.
 Method
Boil potatoes in skins, peel them off and grate finely. Combine mashed potatoes with starch, butter, egg, salt and pepper. Knead carefully and shape small balls or cubes and put on a baking sheet greased with butter. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then sprinkle with chopped friend onion and pour over sour cream and stew for 7 minutes. Serve hot sprinkled with chopped scallions and dill.

 Ingredients
  • 1 kg potatoes.
  • 100 g starch.
  • 1 ea egg.
  • 20 g fat.
  • flour to shape balls.
  • 200 g sour cream.
  • 20 g butter.
  • salt.
