 Pachlava (Baklava)

 Description
Pachlava is a kind of cookies with nuts and honey. Really delicious.
 Method
Chop butter and flour with a knife, make a hole and pour in sour cream, yolks, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Knead dough and divide it into 3 parts. Roll out 1 dough part into a sheet and spread 1/2 filling. Roll the second part and cover, spread the rest of filling and top with the third part of dough. Brush with 2 beaten yolks and cut out rhombuses. Bake until light golden. 10 minutes before taking out, pour over melted honey. Cool down and cut into portions.

  • 3 c flour.
  • 300 g butter.
  • 3 ea yolks.
  • 200 g sour cream.
  • 1 ts baking powder.
  • salt.
  • vanilla.
  • Filling:.
  • 5 ea egg whites.
  • 2 c sugar.
  • 300 g walnuts grinded.
  • honey.
