not really.. this is not really shashlik, the real recipe requires a marinade..and etc. and it is not made in a frying pan.. s tashkenta |
I agree... I agree with s. tashkenta. While I was traveling in Russia a Russian friend took us on a picnic and cook Shashlyk, It was pork that was marinated in, what I think was, vinager, oil, onion and tomato. I think that is what the marinade was. He then cooked it over an open fire BBQ. It was great! M. Sauvageau |
littlekid1 I come from Uzbekistan where shshlyk was first made and I think that the recipe was supposed to have a special marinade and be cooked on an open fire.This recipe is fine but if youwant the best use an open fire bbq. Sergey Arndt |
