 Chopped Herring

 Description
Chopped Herring is a version of famous Russian salad Selyodka pod shuboy. New combination creates completely new taste.
 Method
Soak herring for 10-12 hours, changing water twice. Soak bread with vinegar in water. Chop herring and eggs finely, add onion, apples and squeezed bread, sugar and oil. Chop finely and stir carefully. Serve on bread or separately.

 Ingredients
  • 6 ea herring fillets.
  • 3 tb chopped onion.
  • 1/2 c grated apples.
  • 2 ea hard-boiled eggs.
  • 2 ea white bread slices.
  • 1 ts sugar.
  • 2 tb oil.
