 Almond Cake

 Description
A special cake for special occasions. The delicious almond cake will decorate your table in the most beautful way.
 Method
Beat up eggs with 2 c sugar until white. Wash almonds, dry them and grind in the mincer. Mix almond mass in eggs and pound 10-20 mins. Bake two short cakes in two pans greased with butter and sprinkled with dried and finely ground bread-crumbs. Bake in the heated oven for 12-15 mins. Pour cream into a pan, add 1 c sugar and vanilla. Boil on low heat stirring regularly until the mass is dense and light brown. After that cool down and whip.
Put 1 shortcake on the dish, spread cream on it. Cover with another shortcake and spread the rest of cream. Decorate with chopped almonds.

 Ingredients
  • 450 g almonds.
  • 10 ea eggs.
  • 2 c sugar.
  • 1/2 c dried and finely ground bread-crumbs.
  • 1/2 l cream.
  • 1 c sugar.
  • 1/2 ts vanilla.
