 Chicken Kalya

 Description
Kalya is a soup with pickle base. Kalya is made with meat, poultry or fish, caviar, or mushrooms.
 Method
Chop chicken into slices. Boil chicken until it is soft. Take it from the broth and chop in slices, set slices aside. Fry chopped onion. Add onion, parsley, celery and parsnip roots, bring to boil. Fry flour in butter until it is light brown. Dissolve it in the broth, add chopped ham, chopped peeled cucumbers and cook until all ingredinets are ready. Add chicken slices, season and pour pickle on your taste.
Serve with sour cream and chopped parsley.

  • 500 g chicken.
  • 200 g ham.
  • 200 g pickled cucumbers.
  • 200 g parsley root.
  • 50 g celery root.
  • 150 g parsnip root.
  • 200 g onion.
  • 50 g butter.
  • 50 g sour cream.
  • 2 tb flour.
  • bay leaf.
  • parsley.
  • salt.
  • pepper.
  • pickle.
