Tomato is an ideal vegetable to garnish any dish. Vegetable salads were usually served with main dishes.
Method:
Slice tomatoes and julienne onion. Grate cheese coarsely and combine with tomatoes and onion. Season to taste and dress with oil. Decorate with dill.

6 ea tomatoes.
1 ea onion.
100 g cheese.
4 tb oil.
2 tb chopped dill.
Salt.
Pepper to taste.
