Macaroni “Po-Flotski” literally translates as “Navy Noodles”. Made with simple ingredients — noodles, minced meat or preserved meat (spam or canned beef) — this dish was served as a hot dish as far back as the middle ages.
Legend has it that navy men ate this while at sea, and upon coming home shared the recipe with their wives.
