.  How to survive the day after?


Hangover is the painful retribution for intemperance the day before, the agonizing process of sobering up after deep “submergence” in drink.Unfortunately or fortunately (that is to your discretion), we all have taken this sin upon our souls at least once.Let’s therefore try to bear in mind the most effective and smoothest ways of hangover cure:

1. Having opened your eyes slightly and feeling the heaviness of the approaching day, you should, first of all, drink a large quantity of water ; mineral water is much better, as it makes up for the lack of mineral substances.

2. After that you should, overcoming overcoming the temptation to lie back down, (I know, it’s hard, but possible) reach the fridge and slake tearing thirst with 1-2 cups of sauerkraut pickle. Pickle alleviates the pains of an alcohol victim, as it, rich of potassium and magnesium ions, with a pleasantly sour taste, helps to keep liquid in the organism that lacks it so much. Pickles and tomatoes can come in handy. Later on it is better to have a rest or snatch a nap. Then it is necessary to reward yourself with a plate of hot soup. You can be sure; the life will smile at you.

3. Don’t forget about a traditional Russian drink – kvas. Kvas will help you to return to a normal life rather quickly. The matter is that kvas contains a big group of vitamins B and many other health-giving substances which come from rye bread and help to fight the toxins.

4. It is really good to drink kefir or clabber, they will, indeed, brighten your life up.

5. Water is useful in different ways: take a fresh long shower or a warm bath (recommended with salt) or have a swim in the nearest appealing river. Water treatments will cheer up your sluggish body and make you forget about burdensome feelings.

6. It is considered that honey neutralizes alcohol considerably and so a couple of teaspoonfuls of honey will do you good.

7. Some people believe, that it is necessary to fight fire with fire. If you share this opinion, do the following: have a drink of “such a delicious” beverage you had yesterday with olives and pickled cucumbers.

8. You can also be saved from hangover, if you are sufficiently brave, by a cup of cold water with 4 drops of liquid ammonia.

9. It is said, that a couple of fresh eggs with salt can help efficiently. Why not try it, if there is nothing left to lose?

10. In addition to everything mentioned, I’d recommend you to have a drink of orange juice with a slow walk, enjoying fresh air and nature around and getting rid of bad thoughts.

In the conclusion, I would give you a piece of advice: don’t drink so much that the next day will become a judgement day.
